Mill Creek Vineyard

Mill Creek Vineyard Mill Creek Vineyard is a small boutique winery near Stroud in the Karuah RIver valley in NSW, Austra

Mill Creek Vineyard nestles beneath the protective escarpment of Peppers Mountain where it is fringed by the deep, clean waters of Mill Creek, just north of Stroud on the edge of the Hunter Valley. Here, on five ideal acres of volcanic and loam soils, grape grower and wine maker Helen Gillard is coaxing exquisite results from fully developed Shiraz and developing Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc vines

. Helen’s philosophy is to grow grapes using meticulous canopy management and to make wine as naturally as possible, and only when the vintage is good. She accesses the magic of renowned regional winemakers to produce much sought after limited quantities of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Shiraz and Botrytis Semillon, and the 2011 addition of an elegant sparkling Shiraz.
