Midcoast Mower Racing Club has a number of members representing other clubs at the 2026 All Australian Mower Racing Championships this weekend in Yaamba Queensland and we'd like to wish them all the very best of luck.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to give a special mention to Thomas Shepherd who is MMRC's solo representative at this year's Aussie Titles. Thomas is relatively new to racing but that didn't stop him making the 15hr+ trip to Central Queensland to compete against the best in the country.
Thomas did really well in qualifying yesterday and ended up in C grade out of a field of over 100 mowers which is an amazing effort for a beginner.
Racing commenced today with racers from all over the country and even New Zealand. We'd like to wish Thomas the best of luck in tomorrow's final day of racing along with the rest of the competitors 🏁🏆
