I just thought I’d jump on and reintroduce myself and give all our new followers a back story on me and why I’ve created Blue Springs Highland cows. I’m the face behind Blue Springs Highland Cows a small dream brought to reality!

In May 2024, I lost my mum. As a young mum myself, the grief was heavy and I knew I needed a fresh start. So I left the only place I'd ever called home and moved to Stubbo chasing a lifelong love for animals and country life.

Since school where I studied primary industries, worked alongside farmers in both the beef and dairy industry. I’ve shown cattle at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and other events, and always telling my parents that I was swapped at the hospital and I was meant to be a farmer’s baby. That passion never left me.

After having my daughter, I knew there was no better way for her to grow up than on a farm surrounded by animals, nature and a simpler life. She’s the reason I’ve pushed to make this dream a reality.

My highlands have helped me heal, find purpose, and stay strong for my daughter. These beautiful cows bring me peace and I hope they do the same for everyone who visits.

It’s not about the money. It’s not about fame. It’s about happiness. If you step foot on our property, I hope you feel that same sense of joy, calm, and connection that I feel every day being around these animals. My hope is that my Highland cows can bring a smile to your face, just like they do for me.

With love,
Nikki

🎀🩷 HELP ME MAKE A DIFFERENCE – ALL CANCERS FUNDRAISER! 🩷🎀

It’s time to put Nikki’s blonde locks on the line for a cause that affects far too many families. 💗 I’m raising money to support the incredible work of the McGrath Foundation and help make a difference for people and families impacted by cancer. 🎗️

Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and sadly, so many of us have been touched by it in one way or another. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or someone close to our hearts, we all know how devastating a cancer diagnosis can be. That’s why I want to do my little part to help support those who need it most. 🩷

Here’s where YOU come in! 👀 If I reach my fundraising goal, I’ll be saying goodbye to my blonde locks and taking the plunge with a brand-new hair colour! 💇🏼‍♀️💕

✨ Every donation, big or small, counts. Every dollar raised will help support the McGrath Foundation’s work supporting people experiencing cancer and their families.

🙏 Please donate if you can, share this post, and help spread the word. You never know whose life you might help make a little easier.
Let’s turn my blonde locks into something meaningful and raise some much-needed funds together! 🎀🩷
💕

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donates, shares, and supports this cause. Every little bit of kindness makes a difference. 🩷🎗️

Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease? This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support world-class breast cancer research and help...
