Happy Father’s Day 💙

This Father’s Day feels a little more meaningful for us.

After everything Daniel has been through with cancer, he continues to show up every day and give so much of himself to our little café.

Behind the scenes, there are long days and even longer nights — making cakes, preparing food, working in the kitchen, and then stepping out front to check on tables and make sure every customer who walks through our doors has a wonderful experience.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing someone enjoy what we have created. A beautiful cake in the cabinet or a plate arriving at your table might look simple from the outside, but behind it are hours of preparation, patience, attention to detail, learning, and hard work.

Sometimes the effort behind what we serve goes unseen, but it is there in every little detail.

And today, I want to take a moment to appreciate Daniel — not only for everything he puts into our café, but for continuing to be a hardworking and devoted dad through one of the most challenging chapters of his life. ❤️

To all the dads across Australia, Happy Father’s Day.

For the early mornings, the long days, the sacrifices no one sees, and all the little things you quietly do for your families — you deserve to be appreciated and celebrated today.
