It's been a while since we've shared one of our $30 non-organic fruit and veg boxes, usually because I'm too busy to stop and take a photo.

Seasonal boxes will contain a mix of fruit, vegetables, and herbs, with old favourites and maybe an item you haven't tried before.

There are plenty of names for produce that isn't "perfect" - B grade, seconds, imperfect, inglorious, misfits, and ugly produce.
These misshapen kiwi fruit are called flats and fans.
They are the result of terminal flowers fusing with early lateral flowers, caused by frost, heavy winds, and uneven pollination in early spring.
The result is flat or fan twin fruits, still perfectly edible and delicious.
These guys outsell regular (organic) kiwi fruit!

There was a lot packed into our $40 organic box yesterday, with a few extras added to use up some leftover produce.
Dutch Cream potatoes, grey pumpkin, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, baby beetroot, salad mix, roma tomatoes, bananas, fuji apples, navelina oranges, packham pear, and bonus button squash and mushrooms.
