T-Bone Steak, Chips and Eggs
Ingredients:
1 large T-bone steak (serves 1)
2 eggs
2 large potatoes (for chips)
Salt and pepper
Olive oil or melted butter
Optional: garlic powder, paprika, fresh herbs
Cooking:
Chips:
Slice the potatoes into thin, even rounds and pat dry thoroughly.
Toss chips in olive oil and salt. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
Steak:
Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat.
Heat butter or oil in the pan, then cook the steak for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until done to your liking.
Rest steak for 5 minutes before serving.
Eggs:
Fry eggs in the same skillet using leftover steak fat or butter.
Cook sunny side up, scrambled, or poached—your choice!
