👉Is It for Children? Let’s Talk About Sugar,
Emotions, and Real Nourishment
I’ve been asked many times, “Is it for children?” My answer is-that’s a parent’s judgement.
From my point of view as a life and wellness coach, children up to 18 years old need to follow their own needs; they are often in better contact with their mind and body than most adults are.
Another important aspect is that they should learn to feel how different foods affect their emotions and body-and that includes all kinds of foods, even sugar.
If the child is overweight in the family, it is because they take on board other people’s stress, most often their parents. There are other things to track before going to change the menu.
However, I am using natural sweetener for the cakes if that helps you decide.
✨Food isn’t just food; it feeds our emotions. Emotions are necessary in a balanced way; we can help ourselves by eating foods that support both our body and mental health. Every food is connected to a certain emotion-there’s a direct connection to why you crave certain foods.
Sugar itself isn’t bad; it doesn’t matter if it’s refined or brown. The problem is that it’s added to everything.
The candy you crave isn’t bad-but the juice, bread, and lasagne you ate for lunch might have been a little too much. I’m suggesting eating clean; most often that means cooking your own food.
