Sometimes things go so well in the kitchen, recipes work perfectly

Or that random idea I had in my head really works 😍 sometimes those ideas are a little crazy 🙈

And then there are the days things do not work at all and you have a total failure

Or it’s back to the drawing board to see how you can fix it

Because even us pro cooks have bad days, have things that don’t work or we forget to add the eggs into our cake 🙈 I have definitely done that before

But that’s just cooking and its ok if not everything works all the time we can actually learn alot from the things that don’t work

We all have off days sometimes its just life. But we wash up, move on, and try again another day

You’re cooking with Garlic & the smell is on your hands?

And soap and water just isn’t cutting it, try rubbing your fingers against stainless steel under running water.

A sink, spoon, knife (watch your hands) etc

The stainless steel absorbs the smell & takes it straight off your hands it’s the best

It’s such a simple little kitchen trick, especially after chopping lots of garlic 🧄

Save this one for the next time you’re left with garlic-smelling hands 🙌

Week 40 of planning my weekly menu plan to help reduce my grocery bill & stop the overwhelm of what’s for dinner

I can’t believe how close we are to the end of the year

And this is the time things start to get even busier

This week is a short week because of the public holiday tomorrow and I have lots on so not doing anything too crazy

I’m also trying to get through my freezer and use what I have already

Save this for when you need a little inspiration on what to cook for dinner

Lets cook dinner: Chicken Fajitas Tray bake

But instead of making into a regular wrap or tortilla like I usually do I decided to make it into a Fajita Bowl and it was delicious 😋

Super simple to make being a tray bake and making the fajita mix is super easy as well you don’t need to buy the pack mixes it’s a few simple spices

And it tastes so good comment “TRAYBAKE” all one word for the recipe for the tray bake

And you can make it into the regular wrap you could even make the tortillas from my other simple 4 ingredient tortilla recipe 😍

September Memories another month down in the year and only 3 months left 🤯

September you were a month of mixed things & ups & some big downs but a month that made me actually stop at times and take the pause 🫶 and for that I am grateful

But Spring has sprung and I’m honestly so excited for it, I actually like winter I like the different months for all different reasons but I am excited after being in Europe for their Summer and enjoying the sunshine I want to really enjoy the Spring time this year

And not rush through the seasons, I love Christmas im an absolute Christmas nutter but I’m pushing back and enjoying the season we are in not rushing to the next one

I’m also sooooo excited to be learning how to garden it’s hard work but its so good for you to learn something new and watching it grow is beyond exciting

Lots of baking and cooking as always is happening over here and I am excited for whats to come and what I have planned as well, more homemade is on it’s way
