Presenting a rare opportunity to discover one of Champagne’s most revered houses. On Saturday 18 April, Bennelong welcomes Olivier Krug for an intimate masterclass exploring the philosophy and craftsmanship behind Krug.

Representing the sixth generation of the Krug family, Olivier will guide guests through a tasting of Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition and Krug 2013, accompanied by canapés from the Bennelong kitchen, offering insights into the stories and savoir-faire that define the House.

Hosted by Fink W**e Director this is a rare chance to experience Krug through the perspective of the family that has shaped it for generations.

Since 2013, Patrick has focused on crafting site-driven w**es shaped by Gippsland’s volcanic soils and cool-climate precision.

From 5-7pm, Wednesday 11 March, Patrick will be pouring a selection of his w**es, highlighting structure, freshness and site transparency.

Longshore has scored 3 Goblets at Australia’s W**e List of the Year Awards 2025 ; the highest nod (accolade) offered in the game. And wow, what else can I say other than THANK YOU SO MUCH ☺️🥂🎉

Building this list was literally pure joy. From deep diving into grower fizz, salty whites, textural skin-contact beauties and soulful reds built for seafood and storytelling. Every bottle on this list has a reason to be there (and a story worth drinking).

Over the next few weeks and months, I’ll be sharing some of the feature w**es from the list — the hidden gems, coastal crushes, and w**emakers who deserve the spotlight.

Big love to the Longshore crew, the producers, importers, and fellow staff who made the magic happen every night. ❤️

Longshore has always been about discovery, connection, and a little bit of spontaneity. Over the years we’ve loved every flavour, every dish, every cocktail, and every story that came through our doors. You’ve made this place what it is.

Here’s a look back at some of our favourite plates and cocktails, the ones that got shared, savoured, and remembered. Every bite and sip has been a part of our story, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Since I’m obsessed with Chardonnay, I’m always seeking out the closest relatives with Marsanne and Roussanne high on the list. Place of Changing Winds situated in the foothills of Mount Macedon, where the Wurundjeri people named it Warekilla; the “Place of Changing Winds.” Safe to say, they nailed it.

Here, you’re looking at extreme vine density with up to 33,000 vines per hectare and all grown without chemicals, at 500m elevation, surrounded by forest and native plants. It’s cold, it’s wild, and it’s all hands-on. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay you get from this site is the Estate Series, grown and bottled a few steps from the vines.

You’ll also find Syrah and Marsanne from two warmer sites further north sitting on top of Heathcote’s famous red soils and Harcourt’s granitic sands. Working directly with the growers, deciding everything down to the picking date and time for maximum expression of fruit.

A textured, aromatic blend of Roussanne and Marsanne from granitic soils in Harcourt. Stone fruit, wild herbs, a little grip, and just enough power to boot. Organically grown, lovingly made, and dangerously silky / drinkable.

When you drink these w**es, you’re tasting a sense of place. No shortcuts. Just precision, care, and a little push in the right direction from the wind.
