Four levels beneath Barangaroo is our underground vertical farm, where we grow fresh produce using hydroponics, LED lighting and a whole lot of love.

For National Science Week 2026, we’re opening our doors and inviting the public inside.

Come behind the scenes, explore the farm, plant your own microgreens to take home, and discover how science is helping shape the future of food.

Still slightly wild to say this, but there’s a full working farm underneath Barangaroo.

For National Science Week 2026, we’re opening it up as part of Seed to STEM — a free hands-on program exploring hydroponics, plant science and the future of growing food in the city.

Visitors will tour the farm, plant microgreens, see our growing systems in action and follow a live experiment across the week.

We’re also sending the experiment out beyond the farm, with grow kits being allocated to selected schools and community groups.
