Peace is powerful… but for many people with coeliac disease, peace at the table doesn’t come easily.

It often takes months (or years) to trust labels again, to trust restaurant staff, to trust that ‘gluten-free’ or ‘GF’ really means gluten-free.

Doubt can sit quietly in the background of every meal (Is this fryer shared? Did they change gloves? Did they use a clean knife? Were there crumbs in the butter? Is this meal going to ruin my evening?)

But confidence can come back.

With the right knowledge, the right questions and the right support, eating stops feeling risky and starts feeling joyful again 🤍

If you’re still navigating uncertainty, you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re learning a completely new way of living, and that takes time.

One safe meal at a time, peace returns.

Birthday-eve dinners always feel a little magical… like the world pauses for a moment and lets you savour it ✨ Tonight I celebrated early at , tucked among gorgeous greenery and a softening evening light.

Here, every plate felt like a tiny work of art.

The grilled avocado arrived first, layered with hazelnuts, almond cream, baby beets and salsa verde, crowned with the most delicate potato crisp. Honestly one of the prettiest dishes I’ve ever been served 😍

Then the scallops: perfectly caramelised, resting in brown butter with celeriac, pine nuts, blackcurrants and parsley oil. Rich, bright and beautifully balanced.

And finally the wagyu eye fillet; impossibly tender, with royal potato dauphinoise and a deep, glossy jus that tasted like comfort and celebration all at once.

A perfect way to wrap up another year ♥️

For people living with coeliac disease, gluten-free isn’t a trend or a preference – it’s a medical treatment.

It means reading every ingredient label, asking questions at restaurants, navigating social situations most people never think twice about and, sometimes, explaining again and again that “just a little bit” isn’t okay.

But it also means learning to advocate for your health, finding incredible safe places to eat and building a community that truly understands.

This Coeliac Awareness Week, let’s keep raising awareness so that living safely with coeliac disease becomes easier for everyone.

If you’re part of the coeliac community, know this:
🩷 You’re not difficult.
🩷 You’re not overreacting.
🩷 You’re protecting your health – and that matters.

If you live with coeliac disease, what’s one thing you wish more people understood?

Living gluten-free wasn’t a choice most of us made lightly.

For me and many of you, it started with a diagnosis that changed everything – the way we eat, travel, celebrate, socialise, and even how safe we feel in everyday spaces.

But somewhere along the way, something powerful happened.

You learnt to read every label.
You learnt to ask the questions others are afraid to ask.
You learnt to advocate for yourself at restaurants, airports, dinner tables and family events.

And slowly, what once felt like restriction became something else.

Strength.

Because adaptation is not weakness.
It’s resilience.
It’s courage.
And it’s proof that a full, joyful, delicious life is still possible, even when the path looks different to everyone else’s.

If you’re living gluten-free today, you’re already doing something extraordinary 💛

Last week we teamed up with for our first tech-leader event of the year, on ‘Building teams in an AI-centric world’. The conversations were big… so, naturally, we rewarded ourselves accordingly 😂

Lunch at did not disappoint.
It’s a speakeasy (🤫) tucked away in the CBD, with subtle nods to its sister venue Mjølner, including pre-meal shots and claiming your steak knife like a tiny Viking rite of passage.

wagyu rump cap. Dry-aged duck. Eastern rock lobster. Broccolini that somehow stood tall like another main character.

This is how we treat ourselves – and how we treat our clients.

If you’re navigating rapid cyber, AI or tech shifts and want support building a high-performing team that actually delivers, email me ([email protected]). Happy to help you create something exceptional 🤩

Sometimes the hardest choices reshape us in ways we don’t notice until much later.

Keep going.

Your courage is quietly building a life that feels safer, lighter and more YOU than anything you walked away from.

🥧 Chunky beef pie: Incredible.
📸 Hungry selfie game: Hideous 😂 But this spot is too good to keep to myself.

If you’re heading between Sydney and Canberra, stop in at (and don’t bother getting sauce – you won’t need it 🤤 Lean meat and thick gravy FTW).

It sucks in the beginning.

You second-guess everything.
You over-explain.
You apologise for asking.

Then one day, you don’t.

Because the hard days trained you.

They taught you how to speak up calmly.
How to walk away gracefully.
How to trust your instincts.

That’s not restriction, that’s strength.

If you’re newly diagnosed, I promise it gets easier.

Save this post to remind yourself until it does.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about partners, it’s also about the women who choose you back 👯‍♀️

Today my bestie, , surprised me with a fully gluten-free vegan high tea – not because it’s trendy, but because it’s safe for me.

That’s love.
The kind that anticipates.
The kind that protects.
The kind that feels like home.

I couldn’t do life without her; the way we hold space for each other is incredible ♥️
