While there can be only one winner, the journey to find the World’s Best Bartender aims to pioneer the complexity of cocktail craftsmanship, publicising the knowledge of quality spirits, the pedigree of ingredients and cutting-edge techniques and formulations cultivating next level creativity. Diageo Reserve World Class is looking for a champion who is prepared to battle it out in a series of innovative cocktail challenges. This year’s WORLD CLASS opening round challenges you to create the ultimate drink that sets the scene for your chosen night out. Category 1: SET THE SCENE
Create a cocktail that is a precursor for the night to come. Your creation should evoke the way we socialise and get together in today’s modern environment. The cocktail should be light and uplifting, a perfect platform that could accompany any appetiser or determine the experience to come. Category 2: CREATE THE MEMORY
Create a cocktail that will be the crowning moment as the curtain falls on your chosen night out. Don’t think of your creation as an ‘after-dinner’ tipple, but more so the drink that exemplifies the experience had on your night out with your partner, friends or family. 2. Enter a cocktail under either one or both categories of Everyday Celebration or Milestone Celebration
The Top 100 entries will make it through to the next round and must showcase their entry cocktail in venue for the duration of the competition
