Harvey Norman encourages the use of our social media channels so that we can hear your comments, suggestions, critique and concerns – however, we do ask that you abide by the standards of conduct outlined in our policy. Facebook works in a way that allows the owner of a page (personal or business) to be able to monitor and control the
content that appears on their page. Please understand that we reserve the right to moderate or delete wall posts and comments which we deem to be inappropriate. Examples of what not to do:
• Do not post content or images which may offend other participants
• Do not post comments that are offensive or discriminatory
• Do not bully or harass other participants
• Do not post comments or images that breach another person’s privacy. This includes posting comments about another person without their permission
• Do not post comments which may mislead or deceive another person. For example, making false statements, such as saying Harvey Norman is having a sale when it is not
• Do not post links advertising other retailers or competitor brands. We encourage competition, however discussion on our page is reserved for our brand
In cases where we suspect fraud or breaches of any of the above cases, our moderation team may choose to take your wall post or comment away from public view for further investigation.
