We’re heading to Blackheath on 1 September for a special wine dinner at ATES 🍷
James Sweetapple from Cargo Road Wines in Orange will be joining us for the evening and sharing five of his wines, matched with a beautiful menu from the ATES kitchen.
A few of the pairings I'm really looking forward to are the Gewürztraminer with celeriac velouté and curried cabbage empanada, the Reserve Shiraz with kaffir-braised beef, and we'll finish with James' 2007 Dessert Zinfandel and dark chocolate pot de crème.
We’ll have some of our friends from Bexley Golf Club joining us and hopefully a few from Blackheath Golf Club too.
