🍷 Mmad Vineyard Release! 🍷

There is an impressive pedigree behind MMAD Vineyard. The project brings together the people behind some of Australia's most respected wine names, including Shaw + Smith, Tolpuddle Vineyard and The Other Wine Co.

Their focus is a remarkable old-vine vineyard in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, a site with sandy soils, ironstone beneath the surface and cooling coastal breezes that help create wines with both concentration and freshness.

MMAD is very much about letting the vineyard do the talking. The Grenache vines date back to 1939, Shiraz to 1941 and Chenin Blanc to 1964. These remarkable old vines provide an incredible foundation for wines that combine perfume, texture, concentration and natural balance.

There is also something particularly exciting about the philosophy behind MMAD. Rather than simply chasing the richness often associated with McLaren Vale, the focus is on producing wines that reflect the vineyard with freshness, detail and restraint. The old vines, unique site and experienced team come together to create wines that are both distinctly McLaren Vale and incredibly individual.

Few producers have done more to showcase the diversity of the Mornington Peninsula than Polperro. With a strong focus on individual vineyard sites and meticulous attention to detail, the wines capture the region's cool-climate character with remarkable precision, texture and finesse.

The 2024 vintage has delivered wines of exceptional balance and elegance. A measured growing season allowed the fruit to ripen slowly while retaining vibrant natural acidity and building layers of flavour and complexity. 🍷 Luke Lambert Nebbiolo! 🍷

Few Australian winemakers have championed Nebbiolo with the dedication and conviction of Luke Lambert. From carefully managed vineyards in the Yarra Valley, Luke Lambert has earned a reputation for producing thoughtful, site-driven wines that emphasise purity, balance and transparency, with minimal intervention in the winery.

The 2023 vintage delivered excellent conditions across the Yarra Valley, with a long, measured growing season allowing fruit to ripen gradually while retaining freshness and natural acidity. 🍷 Shaw + Smith Sauvignon Blanc is back! 🍷

Good news with the arrival of the iconic Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc. The 2026 release marks the 37th consecutive vintage that Shaw & Smith has made this award winning wine. It has become known as a benchmark for Adelaide Hills, and Australian, Sauvignon Blanc.

The wine is consistently exceptional in both reputation and quality. This year is no different. Clinically perfect winemaking paired with the sublime conditions of the 2026 vintage in the Adelaide Hills makes the new release all the more welcomed.

There's a real drinkability to this release. The cool, late season allowed for a long, leisurely hang time, resulting in concentrated flavours of pink grapefruit, citrus zest and orchard fruits. The palate is full flavoured, yet resolved. Balanced by refreshing acidity and a clean, crisp finish.
