Nectar Farms is an agri-business dedicated to transforming the current Australian farming model. Founded in 2014 on the belief that successful agri-business can work hand-in-hand with the local community, whilst also safeguarding the environment, our "smart farming" system focuses on glasshouses, hydroponics and high-wire cultivation. We work in partnership with leading disruptive agri-business firms, as well as with local councils and communities, indigenous groups and educational institutions. We are currently building our first project in Stawell, VIC with 10 hectares of glasshouse facilities. Our goal is to become the leading protected-cropping horticulture company in Australia - supporting Australian and Asian food security, to promote regional Australian communities through employment, training and innovation, and to protect the environment through clean energy, resource conservation and clever planning.
