It’s Chris & Bek here.
First and foremost, we want to thank everybody for being so welcoming since Mick & Linda said goodbye to the butcher back in May.
We know so many of you have shared wonderful years here, with friendships built, heartfelt conversations had and a reputation for top-quality products and service. We understand how special this business is to the community and we feel incredibly honoured to be continuing that legacy.
A little bit about us – I (Bek) was born and raised in St Clair, so being part of this community means a lot to me. Chris has been a butcher for 16 years and also owns another butcher shop in Blackheath, where we have built the same family-focused environment, commitment to quality products, and friendly customer service that we hope to continue bringing to St Clair.
As you’ve probably noticed, we’re doing our very best to keep everything as familiar as possible, ensuring you continue to receive the same quality products and friendly service you’ve come to know and trust. We also look forward to building many great friendships of our own with all of you over the years ahead ❤️
We’d also like to let everyone know that you’ll soon notice a name change in-store and across our social media pages. Don’t be surprised when you see it! While we’ve introduced a few new products—which have received some amazing feedback so far—our goal is to keep the heart of the business exactly as you’ve always known it.
We have felt so welcomed by this community since taking over, and we genuinely appreciate the kindness, support, and patience everyone has shown us during this transition. Taking over a much-loved local business is a big responsibility, and we’re grateful for the encouragement we’ve received every step of the way.
