My name is Nicole and ever since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed cooking, especially baking and the excitment that both brought to my childhood. I remember baking cup cakes and slices when I was in primary school- I would putting them in my backpack, hop on my bike and ride to my mums work to share my sweets with the office staff. My progression to cake decorating was sparked by a friend
that gave me my first cake decorating book. The reaction from my friends was overwhelming and enough to send me in to a cake making frenzy, so every chance I got I would make a cake for fun. After the birth of my son I had more incentive to make fun and yummy cakes - I wanted to put a smile on his face for his birthdays! And so the planning began. I enjoyed the challenge, and the detail that was required to create these cakes but most of all I loved the look on my friends and families faces when I unveiled my new creations.
