Minchinbury Fruit Market

Minchinbury Fruit Market Proudly family owned and operated since 1960. The Gauci family have been in Australia since 1949 since Sam Gauci arrived from Malta. (02) 9625 8021

We specialise in fresh fruit and vegetables, premium deli meats and cheeses, artisan bread, and everyday grocery essentials. What started out as modest vegetable farm and roadside stall has now grown into one of the largest fruit and vegetables retailing premises in Sydney. This long standing fresh produce business is still a family concern now operated by Sam's four children, Joe, Frank, George and Rose with a third generation of Gauci's also working a long side their parents. Located on the Western Highway, Minchinbury Fruit Market is a fabulous place to shop for fresh fruit and vegetables but a whole lot more can be discovered in this big green shed. The interior of the store is bright, clean and there are four extra along aisles that stretch the length of the store that are filled with an impressive range of quality fruit and vegetables. The walls of the store are adorned with a mural of historical family photos that chronicle the Gauci family's story, from market gardeners to award winning retailers. At the rear of the store a large refrigerated cabinet houses the perishable lines like (mushrooms, asparagus, bean and alfalfa sprouts, packaged baby spinach and rocket) and a plethora of delicious imported delicatessen lines, milks and cheeses compliment the fresh lines. Minchinbury Fruit Market also offers a comprehensive range of gourmet groceries and an in house butcher that is open 7 days a week. Minchinbury Fruit Market, 1039 Great Western Hwy, Minchinbury Tel.

Even the Big Boss is taking a guess.

For National Banana Day here in Australia, Craig challenged Michael, Joe, Taliya and Karen to guess the weight of one bunch of bananas, with $20 for the closest guess.

You know him as Joe. Craig calls him Dad. But will the Big Boss walk away with the prize?

Make your guess before the scales reveal all.

Not quite the bend and snap Elle Woods had in mind 😉

Susanne is putting an asparagus twist on the famous move. Gently bending the spear helps it snap around the point where the tougher end finishes and the tender section begins.

Australian asparagus is back in season, so now is the perfect time to give it a try.

Did you already know this trick?
