As our Year 12 students finish their time at MFHS, we reflect on everything they have achieved across academic, sporting, creative, and extracurricular pursuits. We are incredibly proud of the contribution they have made to our school and the wider community.

🎹🎵 On Thursday 24 September, Sidney and Felix L. represented Model Farms High School at the Jacaranda Concert at the Sydney Opera House. The boys performed Fossils and Finale from Carnival of the Animals, a piano duet by Camille Saint-Saëns. Their performance was an individual act selected by The Arts Unit, following auditions from students across NSW. Their talent, confidence and professionalism were outstanding, and we are incredibly proud of them. 👏

🎓 The final week of school is here for our Year 12 students! 💙 On Wednesday, students threw it back and dressed up as their younger selves, bringing plenty of fun and nostalgia to the day. It was a great reminder of just how much they have grown throughout their time at Model Farms High School. Today marks their final day of school, with the Year 12 Clap Out and Graduation taking place this afternoon. We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with our Year 12 students, their families and staff.

Our Year 10 Leaders have completed the Breathe Easy All Together (BEAT) Workshop, delivered in partnership with the Prevention Education and Research Unit and NSW Health. The workshop equipped our student leaders with knowledge and skills to educate Year 7 students next term about the risks and dangers associated with smoking and va**ng. A fantastic opportunity for our Year 10 Leaders to develop their leadership skills while helping to promote healthy choices across our school community. 👏

👩‍🍳 Our Year 11 Hospitality students have been developing their practical skills throughout the term, building confidence and experience in the kitchen. 🎓 Congratulations to MFHS students Alicia and Jackson! Alicia, who explored Early Childhood, and Jackson, who explored Carpentry, have successfully completed an 8-week TAFE Taster Program, gaining valuable insight into their chosen industries.
Throughout the program, both students gained hands-on industry experience, studied in a TAFE environment and worked alongside industry experts. Both students received excellent feedback for their commitment and involvement throughout the program 👏

The Winter Grade Sport competition has wrapped up, with the grand finals being played on Wednesday and several teams competing for the title.
Well done to all of our teams who made it through to the Grand Finals. Reaching the final is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment, teamwork, and effort shown throughout the competition. 👏
