🏐 Congratulations to our U15s Girls Netball Knockout team, who secured a fantastic Round 2 win against Richmond HS in the Sydney West competition! The team has now earned their spot at the Sydney West Gala Day! 👏 Well done, girls, and good luck for the Gala Day! 💪🏐
A great start to the CHS Knockout Competition, with our Open Boys Hockey team coming away with a 5–1 win against Epping Boys High School in Round 1! 🏑🔥The team will now travel to Newcastle for Round 2. Great job, boys, and good luck for the next round! 💪

Model Farms High School P&C are hosting our 2026 Trivia Night on Saturday 29 August. Tickets are $20 a head, or you can purchase a discounted table of 8 for $120.

There is no restriction on table numbers; you can have more or less than 8, but prizes will be awarded in groups of 8. BYO food and drink. Over 18s, and non-current DoE students only to attend.

So far this week, our faculties have been celebrating NAIDOC Week and the theme “50 Years of Deadly” in a range of ways, with plenty more still to come.

🏃‍♀️Year 7 students have participated in Indigenous games and activities during PE.
🌿PDH Lessons have been conducted outdoors, in our learning areas that promote connectedness.
📚Our Library has celebrated through reading works by Aboriginal authors, exploring Aboriginal art and design, and colouring activities.

It has been fantastic to see our students learning, celebrating and connecting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, past and present.

Career in Nursing Taster Day 🩺Year 11 students Mya and Madison recently had the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a nurse! 👩‍⚕️They gained valuable insight into TAFE nursing qualifications and developed practical skills including CPR, taking vital signs, and safely assisting with patient movement. A fantastic opportunity to explore the nursing profession and gain first-hand insight into a future career in nursing!

This week, Model Farms is celebrating NAIDOC Week and this year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly”. It’s a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and achievements, while recognising the strength, resilience and contributions of First Nations peoples.

🗣️Congratulations to Prisha and Emma on their performance at the local final of Junior Public Speaking. Both students spoke passionately on their prepared topics and "unfinished business" in the impromptu section.
