🏑👏 Congratulations to Henry, Oscar, Robert and Sebastian on representing Sydney West at the CHSSA Hockey Championships in Parkes earlier this term!

Competing against strong opposition, the boys consistently performed at a high level and made valuable contributions to their team throughout the tournament.

A special congratulations goes to Robert, whose outstanding efforts as goalkeeper earned him the MVP award from the Sydney West coach, a well-deserved recognition of his skill, dedication and hard work 🌟🏆

💻🚀 Exploring the Future of STEM! 🚀💻
A small group of students attended the Big Day In, an engaging careers event that showcased the wide range of opportunities available within the STEM industry, with a particular focus on information technology. Throughout the day, students heard from a variety of guest speakers who shared insights into their careers, highlighting the diverse roles and pathways available within the sector.
Students also had the opportunity to interact with exhibitors, ask questions relevant to their individual interests, and explore potential career options. One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on experience with emerging technologies and interactive activities, which allowed students to test their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the industry. Overall, it was a highly informative and enjoyable experience for all who attended 🌟👏

A huge congratulations to our 16 students who performed in The Arts Unit's Combined Schools Musical. As a mob of sooty chimney sweep 'misfits' they were professional, entertaining and did Model Farms proud.🎼💃

🏐 Congratulations to our Open Girls Netball Knockout Team on their impressive 40–13 win over Rooty Hill High School on Monday!

A huge thank you to Tahli for umpiring and Ava for scoring throughout the match. With this win, the team has secured a place at the Sydney West Gala Day, where the top eight schools in Sydney West will compete. We wish the girls the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition ✨

🎓 Our senior students recently had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Macquarie University to learn more about the Early Entry application process. Students were guided through the key steps and given helpful tips on how to showcase their strengths and achievements. 🌟
We hope the session was informative and inspiring as students begin preparing their applications. Thank you to Macquarie University for supporting our students on their post-school pathways!

This week, our students attended the National Sorry Day event at Parramatta Town Hall on Dharug Country, the land of the Burramattagal people, joining the community in honouring the Stolen Generations. The event included a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, traditional dance performances, weaving workshops and powerful reflections shared by local Community Knowledge Holders. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to listen, learn and reflect.
