Hi all, Hayley here!
The past 18 months I’ve been going through a somewhat silent battle (unless you’ve seen an episode because I can’t exactly hide them!)
Today was diagnoses day ✨finally ✨ I have been diagnosed with Vaso Vagal Syncope which is just a fancy way of saying I’m a fainter, it’s nothing more serious but it is serious in and of itself because my warning window is very small.
We have a few changes we have to make, my horses will need ‘my rider is unconscious’ training, saddles will need straps fitted because I’m not supposed to ride anymore (but absolute buckleys of enforcing that rule) I’m not supposed to ride a motorbike anymore because I can’t strap myself to it and I’m not allowed to use ladders or step ladders so no more house painting or shed building. Matt has to learn how to fetch me from the bottom of a pool as I will sink during an episode and paddleboarding I have to wear a life vest (you know it’s going to be pink!) Also drive on my own as little as possible.
So some changes coming to Watson Family Produce over the coming months as we learn to adjust, and Warwick locals if you catch me laying on the floor in the shopping centre, climb down and come chill with me 🤣
