I hear a lot of people struggle with Coriander, it’s a bu**er and just keeps bolting. Try directly sowing it and wait for the cooler months. Let me know how you go.

But honestly if you don’t want to grow it, I won’t be mad.

Winter is the best time to develop your soil, build your garden beds and plan for the warmer months ahead.

I want to help you in your veggie garden. Go to the link in my bio to see all the different services I offer.

Don’t wait for spring, call me now!

They will grow during winter but should be sown pretty soon.

Who is growing spuds this winter?

Learning to propagate will save you money and take you further on that path of self sufficiency.

It’s really not hard and I always make a bunch of cuttings just incase anyway.

What are you propagating at the moment?

Cracked skin, stained with dirt! I remember how proud i was when I first noticed it on my finger all those years ago. After a career sitting at a desk with a computer this was actually an exciting thing for me to see.

Where are all my messy productive happy gardeners?

I see it all the time, people getting overwhelmed with their patch, trying for that Instagram look. Forget about it and start growing for abundance and joy rather than pretty pictures. Unless you like the pretty picture then go at it.

Not that anyone here needs permission, but you have to anyway.

Good things take time. There is no quick way to garden, just just start doing it and every season it gets better.

Don’t be disheartened by a slow first few seasons, it’s all developing into something amazing!

Be patient!

This is mostly true for most things. Especially your leafy greens and fruiting plants.

They grow it. You harvest it. They grow again. Its all part of the little dance we do with our food and that relationship where we help each other grow.

16/05/2026

What are you all harvesting today?

Love my green beans!
