Quick follow up on the gluten question. Such an interesting conversation. You really have to be careful using nutritional content claims about products made in a space where cross-contamination could occur 🤔
At the same time, I’ve always been confused by the term “gluten-friendly”. I’m not the expert in this area so I’d love to hear from folks with lived experience. Does it get annoying to hear the “may contain traces” line all the time?

If you’ve been following along since the beginning, you know the range has been adapted to accommodate different dietary requirements. GF cookie chunks have been in the works for a while now and it’s almost finalised.
Everything is made in a shared kitchen premises so I can’t make any claims about products being entirely free from traces. Particularly in the case of severe coeliac disease, but extra care is always taken to minimise the risks.
On that note, if I can dial in this gluten-free cookie recipe and make the switch in the Hedgehog Bark - the whole range will be gluten-free and I won’t have any need to regular flour anymore!

Over the weekend, I mentioned how the range at Yeh Not Bad involves a forever evolving process of fine-tuning and adapting. I’m taking in all the feedback and comments from the markets over the last month and starting to implement some new ideas and changes to see how it lands. Thanks for joining me on this journey. As always, happy to hear your thoughts on what you love and what you think we could do to be even better. I promise I won’t be offended, I have worked with a lot of angry chefs over the years so I’d like to think I have a pretty thick skin 😂

Two new additions to the Apricot Coconut Hedgehog Bark collection. Both with dark chocolate cookie chunks, one in white and one in milk chocolate. I’ll see how these go at the markets over the weekend before adding them to the menu permanently.
It’s not until I step back and appreciate how the range has come together, I realise how quickly things are growing and evolving at the same time.
I’m very grateful for all the online orders and for everyone that stops by at the markets to pick up some goodies. Hearing all the positive feedback on your favourites really makes my day. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
