We truely can’t wait to host you at our upcoming ‘Open Wine Weekend’ 7th & 8th of May / 11am - 5pm.

We’re excited to announce that The Stetson Family will be playing live on both days.
Here’s a little from their website: “They blend like one of the legendary bluegrass or country families”.
“The Stetson Family walk the line between alt-country and bluegrass with their free-wheeling, spirited songs, awash with soaring harmonies.”

Adding further: We’re also thrilled that Grant Street Grocers will be creating sensational flavours for our pop-up food services. Combine this with a line-up of Murrindindi’s historic cars, a dedicated exhibition and sales space for works by renowned artist, Marian Rennie as well as quality local craft and artisan displays, we’ve all the ingredients for an enthralling gala event.

Little River Wines will be open from 11am on both days. Plenty of seating available or bring a rug. Strictly no BYO food, drinks or dogs, please.

Although our delightful 'N.V. Mistelle' has been available for some months now, we feel now is the time for an official introduction.

Mistelle is a unique wine style made from a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sparkling wine base, fortified with a quality brandy of Pinot and Chardonnay. This can be served over ice or on its own as a light Tokay-like liqueur. It has tantalising Cognac aromas, is rich, full bodied and with a dry finish.

Serve as an aperitif or liqueur.

We love it and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Rennies at Acheron are hosting and very much looking forward to blowing away the Winter blues with a Solstice Banquet, aptly referred to as the 'Shortest Lunch'.
Co-hosted by Little River Wines (yours truely) and Bullalea Park of Buxton with guest chef Thomas Lawler cooking up a storm with food artist Marian Rennie.

Some RNR down by the river was required after an amazing weekend serving it up to our wonderful customers and friends........

Enjoyed thoroughly was some delightfully tender grilled Rump from the amazing 'Thornton Butchers' and of course a cheeky bottle of Little River Shiraz to compliment. 🥩✔️🍷✔️

... if you are still thinking of entering Sculpture at Acheron this Easter I have been asked to extend the closing date for submissions .. due to Covid we are more than happy to accept submissions until the week before Easter ... we are looking forward to a fabulous show and so much thanks to the sculptors and artists that have supported us in this uncertain year ... onwards and upwards ...
