And just like that Vintage 2026 is underway with our first ever Chenin Blanc from the Riverland Vine Improvement Committee in Monash, Riverland, SA.

This weekend has an unreasonable amount of rain predicted in the Riverland so we chose to harvest a little earlier as Chenin Blanc is quite susceptible to rot.

Huge thank you goes to Patrick and the team at RVIC, as well as Ashley Ratcliffe from for assisting in the transport and use of his bins! We also received our first harvest of Riverland Vermentino from Ashley’s block in Barmera, updates to come on this soon!

The grapes are off to to be pressed and fermented in tank. Will update you on how that’s looking throughout the week.

Who’s excited for a Muto Chenin Blanc? It’s a bit of a personal favourite for us here, we’re brimming with excitement!

Happy birthday to Natural Science Wine & Liquor! Four years of representing great Australian producers, and showing off that some of the best local watering holes might be right around the corner from home.

Tristan is an incredible asset to the industry, championing independent local producers. From a little hole in the wall shop (Waldo used to swing past in the very first weeks of opening for a can after work) to now a cracking sit down spot where you can order a pizza from next door to enjoy with your glass or bottle of wine.

We are so proud to be stocked at Natural Science, as well as participating in some great events and tastings throughout the years. Well done to the whole team on the last four years, and wishing nothing but the best (and maybe a taco truck or two) for your future!

Our hearts (and stomachs) are full after the very first Muto Christmas party this evening. What a way to wrap up the year.

2025 has been our biggest and best yet, and we couldn’t have done it without you. From every farmers market chat to every bottle poured, we’re so grateful for your support. A huge thank you to every venue and store that stocked Muto this year, we appreciate your support.

If you opened a bottle of Muto in 2025, know it was made by our small family team in Tallarook, Victoria with a lot of love and care.
