What a lovely surprise just now! 🐴☀️

I headed down to mow Site 1 and found all 14 horses gathered together in the one spot, enjoying the sunshine after all the recent rain.

A beautiful sight and one of those little moments that makes you stop and smile. ❤️

Goodbye rain! ☀️

It’s amazing what a few fine days can do.

The paddocks are green, the sunsets are beautiful, and the cooler nights make gathering around the fire even better.

June weekends are now fully booked (thank you! ❤️), but we still have some midweek availability and plenty of opportunities to visit throughout July.

Sometimes all you need is a quiet campsite, a crackling fire and a view like this. 🏕️🔥

Mother Nature is definitely the boss around here. 🌧️

In the early days, I used to think I could stay one step ahead of her. These days, I know better😉.

For our regular campers and recent visitors, these photos show just how quickly things can change.

• The creek crossing to the Back in Time Forest
• The rockpool entry near the bridge
• Our main river access point

Only a few days ago, these spots were calm and easy to access. After some decent rain, they’ve been completely transformed.

Having a campground bordered by the Albert River and Clutha Creek is a constant reminder that we work to Mother Nature’s timetable.

The good news is that sunshine is forecast over the next few days, and it should be business as usual here at Plunkett Green this weekend. 🏕️
