Vintage has begun!

First delivery of Stonewell Shiraz on Tuesday. Judging by the smile on Michael Hall’s face, he’s pretty happy with the result! His 2026 single vineyard Michael Hall Wines Stonewell Road Shiraz will be one to look out for in the future.
(His current release of ‘23 Stonewell Road Shiraz is sold out, but keep an eye out for his ‘24 release). 🍷

🏏🍷 FOURTH TEST FACE OFF – ALL OVER TOO SOON 🔥

Well… that was quick.
No one saw it coming. A Test finished before we even settled in.

We were lining up bottles, reading the pitch, and waiting for things to calm down by Day 3… not realising the players had very different ideas.

Blink and you missed it.
Ridiculous Test. Classic cricket.

At least the wine had time to breathe.

Bright, cheeky, and in total control. Crisp, refreshing, and built for long sessions, it’s scoring freely and loving the conditions. No fuss. No nerves. Just clean strikes all day.

🇬🇧 England counters with Sang de Pigeon Chardonnay - Sharp, structured, and coming in with intent. Stone fruit, savoury edge, and plenty of tension. Bowling tight lines and looking to swing this one late.
