🍇 From Spain to the Barossa: the remarkable story of Grenache
Grenache has travelled a long way to find its home in Australia. Originally from Aragón, Spain, the variety was brought here by James Busby in 1832 before finding a natural home in South Australia just a few years later.
Today, the Barossa is home to some of the world’s oldest continuously producing, own-rooted Grenache vines — a remarkable piece of Australian w**emaking history. ❤️🍷
Our 2023 Barossa Grenache showcases everything we love about the variety, with bright red berry fruit, gentle spice and silky tannins. Vibrant, elegant and incredibly versatile, it’s just as enjoyable lightly chilled on a warm afternoon as it is alongside a hearty meal by the fire.
