⭐️ Updated shop hours for this week! ⭐️

What a BUSY week it’s been here at Gertie’s HQ! We’ve had so many gorgeous catering orders head out the door this week, and with another HUGE day of catering ahead of us tomorrow, our Tanunda shopfront will be closed this Saturday (17th October) so we can focus on getting all those goodies out the door!

BUT if you’re in need of some sweet treats, we’re open today! Otherwise, please don’t hesitate to flick us a message – we’re more than happy to pop some goodies aside for collection from our kitchen tomorrow. 🥰

And while we’re talking catering... if you’ve got an upcoming celebration, event or gathering, now’s the time to get in touch!

🎄 ANDDD our Christmas catering menu is coming SOOOON! Keep your eyes peeled... we’ve got some delicious things planned, both for catering AND in the shop!

Thank you for keeping our little business so wonderfully busy!! 🌻

The shop will be back open next week — with plenty of sweet treats & all the usual Gertie’s goodness!

Thanks so much for understanding, cant wait to see you next week!

🤍 A little throwback...

Gertie's Goodies actually didn't begin in the Barossa.

We started in Port Augusta before making the decision to move home to the Barossa a few years later.

I'll be honest - I was terrified.

In Port Augusta, Gertie's had really found its feet. We had wonderful customers who supported us from the beginning, and leaving that behind meant starting all over again.

When we moved, we jumped straight into leasing our kitchen, but we didn't have the customer base we'd spent years building. We had to earn that trust all over again.

It probably took another 12 or so months before things really started to gain momentum, and eventually we found ourselves busier than ever.

Looking back now, it was one of the biggest risks I've taken... but also one of the best.

To everyone who's supported Gertie's - whether you found us in Port Augusta, discovered us after the move, or have only recently walked through our shop doors- thank you. You've all been part of this journey. 🤍

Seven years in, I'm so excited to see where the next chapter takes us. 🌻

Have you been following Gertie's since the Port Augusta days, or did you discover us here in the Barossa? I'd love to know! 🤍
