Tanunda Show. No time for photos, but while I was busy with official duties our sole exhibit, a Langshan hen, managed to make her way to the top in the Rex Starick Pavilion.

Oskar’s little J*p Bantam pullet also managed to pull reserve junior, and we had a successful day in the Show Hall too!

Pulled a few birds (that still had feather) out for Lobethal Poultry Club’s first show of the year today.

Reserve bird of show and champion heavy breed with our Langy hen, and champion junior with one of Oskar’s first homebred J*panese Bantam pullets 🏆

Finally dipped our toes into bantam Langshans this year - and great way to round out the show season with Reserve Bird of Show in today’s Lobethal Poultry Club non-championship show 🏆

Successful day all round with five birds coming home with five cards: four wins and a second. And the young fella was pretty happy to win two from two with his J*panese bantam girls ✌🏻

Sadly no Vorwerk pics because they were being their usual Vorwerk selves 🤣🫠
