Well many may have noticed that things have been a little quite but behind the scenes there has been plenty going on and it's come time that we are able to start sharing some of these things with you.
Today we share the news that West Oak Cattle Company is now the owner of Glen Oak Brahmans. For those of you that follow Glen Oak, may have seen myself around the Glen Oak cattle for a number of years as that is were it all started for myself being invovled with the families stud before the creation of West Oak Cattle company.
It has come to the time in my parents lives that they have decided to step back and take things some what easier so West Oak Cattle co made the decision to purchase all the remaining cattle. With this being said, the bulls that will be sold through Rockhampton Brahman Week 2026 will be the last under the guidance of my parents Roger and Sue Hayden.

I would like to extend my well wishes on what is to comes for them and will look forward to seeing all of there valued clients in the years to come.

With Lot 213 being withdrawn, our last lot for 2026 February All Breeds Bull & Female Sale is Lot 214. Another baby bull at just 17 months, still have impressive data for a young bull at 708 kg, 126EMA, 7/5 Fat, 4.8 IMF, 38 Scrotal, 90 % Motility. He is also homozygous Polled to go with it.

West Oak would like to hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and would like to wish all a happy New Year.
As the year draws to a close we would like to extend a very big thank you to all our valued clients for their continued support for the year that has been 2025. We are truly thankful and hope to see you into the New Year.
