Our family favourites for those hot summer days!

Just to name a few, all other menu options are still available and can always add to these!

We can't wait to share some traditional summertime feast with you all, from curry pippies, Oyster Fritters, Chilli crabs, Coconut crab and maybe even some fish, ( our seafood will however be a little pricey) due to us having to buy it and not hunt or gather it ourselves, so we have been following our local favourite seafood co ops 😋 and if we were to get enough interest for a day we would keep it at a reasonable price so everyone can try 😀

We understand that plans can sometimes come together at short notice, and where we are able to accommodate your catering needs, one day’s notice is more than enough for us.

Of course, this is subject to our availability, as we may already have other catering commitments booked in.

Please note that full payment is required upfront to confirm and secure your catering order. Your order will only be considered confirmed once payment has been received.

We’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs where we can, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support of our small business. 💜

As a newly established small family business, we’re simply trying to make our way, build something of our own, and pave our own path.

It’s been a little disheartening to spend weeks preparing and planning with our team for events, taking the time to organise meetings, prepare invoices, adjust pricing and make arrangements with larger organisations, only to sometimes be left unsure of where things stand.

We’ve even lowered our prices on occasions to make things work and to give our business an opportunity to get out there, establish ourselves and build positive relationships within our community.

We completely understand that plans change, budgets change and circumstances change. Sometimes an organisation may decide not to proceed, and we absolutely respect that. We know that these decisions are part of doing business.

What can be difficult for a small business, however, is not knowing what the outcome is after investing significant time into planning and preparation.

Unfortunately, this has happened more than once, and we’ve been left with invoices, planning and arrangements made, without knowing whether things are still moving forward.

As a small business owner, I understand how important communication is. Even a simple email or phone call to let us know that plans have changed or that our services are no longer required would be greatly appreciated.

It’s not about expecting every opportunity to go ahead. It’s about valuing the time and effort that small businesses put into preparing for those opportunities.

We haven’t wanted to continually follow up because we understand everyone is busy, and we certainly don’t want to put pressure on anyone. At the same time, it can be difficult to know whether to continue planning, hold dates, or simply move on when there’s no communication.

Small businesses put an enormous amount of time, effort, heart and hope into every opportunity. Behind every email, invoice, meeting and preparation is a real person, a family and a team trying to build something meaningful.

We’re proud of what we’re building and incredibly grateful for the organisations and people who have supported us, communicated with us and given our small business an opportunity.

We simply hope that, moving forward, there can be a little more communication and consideration for small businesses like ours.

We understand that not every opportunity will work out, and that’s okay.

Sometimes, all it takes is a simple:

“Thank you for your time and preparation, but unfortunately we’ve decided not to proceed.”

That small gesture can make a big difference to a small business.
