Meet the Tscharke Elements GSM, a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre from the Barossa Valley.

Bright red cherry and raspberry from the Grenache. Dark spice and body from the Shiraz. Earthy, savoury depth from the Mourvedre. Together, something that’s more than the sum of its parts.

This week it’s the Tamburlaine No Preservatives Added Shiraz from the Hunter Valley. Rich blackberry, dark plum, warm spice. Full-bodied and absolutely nothing masking it.

No preservatives, no added sulphites, just Shiraz doing what Shiraz does when the fruit is this good.

Prosecco vs Champagne. Same bubbles, completely different story. 🥂

Both are sparkling, both are delicious but they are made differently, taste differently and sit at completely different price points. Neither is better. They are just different.

Our year in review 🍇✈️

This year took us back on the road, travelling to wine regions near and far, visiting the wineries we already work with and love, and making new friends along the way. There’s nothing better than seeing where the wines come from and sharing those stories with you.

It was also a big year for The Wine Traveller, with Junior Traveller officially joining the business and becoming part of the day-to-day journey. Pinot played a very important role too, helping select plenty of great wines (quality control, obviously), and our kitchen saw lots of delicious recipes created to pair with each bottle.

Thank you for travelling with us this year and for supporting small, family-owned wineries. We can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us 🥂🍷
