🌿 Winter walks around the Kangarutha dam hit different.

You don’t have to look far to appreciate the incredible wildlife that shares this 100-acre property with us. Swipe through for a glimpse of magic from our guests morning stroll.

We love a bit of citizen science here at Kangarutha, and winter is the perfect time for birdwatching. If you're visiting the farm, we highly recommend downloading the Merlin Bird ID App before your walk; it listens to the calls around you and tells you exactly what birds are singing in the trees! You can also upload your photos and sightings directly to the iNaturalist app to help map our local biodiversity.

Sometimes the best part of camping here is just sitting quietly, listening, and seeing who shows up. 🪵✨

🏕️ Keen to do some birdwatching of your own? Hit the link in our bio to book a winter camp stay (and remember, the campfire wood is on us!).
