🥂 The Season is Wrapping Up… Time to Celebrate Your Team?

For many local businesses, the ANZAC Day long weekend marks the finish line of a huge season. If you work in tourism or hospitality, you know that feeling of finally winding down!

Our friends have held their end-of-season staff gathering right here at Kangarutha Farm every May.

Why it works for (and could work for you):

🔥 Relaxed Atmosphere: Get the campfire going and swap stories in a quiet, undisturbed natural setting.

🏠 Versatile Event Space: Our rustic venue is perfect for local catering and can be styled for anything.

🌿 Connection: It’s a space where teams can truly reconnect away from the "busy-ness" of the office or shop front.

Whether you are planning a social gathering, a team celebration, a meeting, or a creative workshop, Kangarutha provides the privacy and peace to make it special.

Let’s make your next event work. 📩 Send us a DM to book a tour of our event space—we’d love to help you plan your next team catch-up!

🚧 Mimosa Rocks NP Closures? We’ve got the perfect backup plan!

If you’ve heard the news about the upcoming upgrades in Mimosa Rocks National Park, don’t let the "Road Closed" signs ruin your holiday plans. While Nelsons Beach, Middle Beach, Gillards, and Aragunnu take a little break for renovations, Kangarutha Farm is open and ready to welcome you! 🌿

Kangarutha offers everything you love about the National Park, plus a few perks you won't find there:

📍 Prime Location: We back directly onto Bournda National Park—you get the same stunning forest vibes and coastal access.

🐕 Dog Friendly: No need to leave your best friend behind! Unlike the NPWS sites, we love having your well-behaved pups along for the adventure.

🔥 Campfires & Comfort: Enjoy a real campfire under the stars, plus the luxury of hot showers, flushing toilets, and a full camp kitchen.

🚲 Pedal to the Pier: We are right on the Tathra-Kalaru bike trail. It’s an easy ride straight into town for a coffee or a surf.

🛶 Farm Fun: Explore our own forest trails and tranquil dams—perfect for a morning stroll or a quiet afternoon by the water.

✨ Space & Privacy: More room to spread out and more peace than a crowded public campground.

There’s truly no better time to discover your new favorite South Coast base camp.

The Easter crowds are gone... but the magic is just beginning.
The long weekend might be over, but the school holidays are still in full swing! If you’ve been waiting for the "big rush" to pass before making your move to the coast, now is your time.

The air is crisp, the water is at its warmest, and the trails are calling. Here are 5 reasons why Kangarutha Farm should be your family base camp for the rest of the holidays:

🌳 Room to Breathe: Forget cramped holiday parks. We have plenty of space for the kids to run wild and for your dog to enjoy the farm and trails right by your side.

🌊 Summer’s Last Hurrah: The water is at its warmest this time of year! For a refreshing quick dip, our two favorite local spots are Tathra Beach and Kiananny Bay.

🚲 World-Class MTB: Ride straight from your tent and onto the famous Tathra Mountain Bike trails. No bike racks required.

🥾 Coastal Wandering: Explore the stunning Kangarutha Walking Track for hidden coves and breathtaking Sapphire Coast views.

🏕️ Comfort on a Budget: It’s camping, but not as you know it. Enjoy hot showers, modern flushing toilets, and our full camp kitchen—all for a fraction of the price of a hotel.

The best part? There is still fuel at the bowsers, plenty of sunshine in the forecast, and we still have availability for you, your family, and your best four-legged friend. 🐾

Don't let the holidays slip away—come and find your quiet corner of the coast.

✨ Can you believe it’s already been two weeks?

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Plant Sale and Open Day! It was truly a weekend like no other. 🌿

We loved sharing the farm with you—from the beautiful folk tunes of Pepper and Davis on Sunday to our guided ecology walks. A special thanks to the Katt’hoo Café coffee cart for keeping us caffeinated while supporting the Bega Local Aboriginal Land Council. ☕️

Whether you picked up some new greenery, asked us questions about the land, or simply soaked up the natural bush surrounds, we are so grateful for your support. Sharing this space with our wider community is exactly why we love what we do.

🍂 Missed out? Our next Plant Sale will be in Autumn. Keep a close eye on our socials—we’ll be announcing the confirmed dates soon!

🎥 A special feature:
We’ll leave you with this stunning video by Dylan Clarke. Dylan is a talented English/French videographer currently on a working holiday traveling up the East Coast NSW.
