Gordon Litchfield Wool is looking for a full-time Warehouse Operator to join their team in Cooma.

This is a role we are happy to tailor to the right person. Whether you're a hands-on, methodical operator who likes to get stuck in and get the job done, or someone looking to take on more responsibility and be part of the next chapter of wool warehousing and technology, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll be doing
• Receiving, handling and preparing wool for dispatch.
• Operating warehouse equipment and maintaining a safe, clean and organised workplace.
• Ensuring wool is handled accurately and to standards.
• Working with transport providers and our Wool Technical team.
• Keeping warehouse systems, records and paperwork up to date.
• Contributing to improvements in warehouse processes and technology
• Supporting the broader Gordon Litchfield Wool team to deliver great service to our clients.

About you
We're open to different levels of experience. You might be:

The hands-on operator – reliable, practical and methodical, with a good eye for detail. You enjoy physical work, aren't afraid to get stuck in and have an interest in wool and the agricultural industry.

The next-step operator – someone who enjoys working with computers and systems, is keen to learn and wants to take on more responsibility as our warehouse continues to embrace new technology and smarter ways of working.

For the right person, there is real opportunity to develop the role and take on additional responsibility.
A forklift and driver's licence and wool industry experience are desirable, but we're more interested in the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

Why join us?
Gordon Litchfield Wool is a long-standing, family-owned wool business that is now part of the Moses Group. We're investing in our people, our systems and the future of wool.
If you're looking for a role where you can get stuck in, learn new skills and have the opportunity to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

How to Apply
Send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining why you'd be a good fit for the role to [email protected]
For more information, contact Ben on 0429 924 109

Applications close: Monday 21st September

Temora High School and Beyond is an annual event which showcases the diverse and interesting career pathways of THS alumni.
This year, they have Dr. Sarah Preston giving a presentation about her work in the Ag sector- with a focus on sheep. Sarah’s interest in animals and agriculture began while growing up on her family’s farm near Temora. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science and PhD in Immunology and Parasitology, followed by research and university teaching in veterinary and animal sciences. In 2025 she co-founded SwabTec to translate scientific research into practical tools for livestock producers.

The event is free, but registrations would be appreciated.

Back in 1965, Bruce Moses — Marty’s father — was pictured judging fleeces at the Temora Show.

Fast forward more than 60 years, and the tradition continues. The Moses & Son team is still proudly supporting fleece competitions at local agricultural shows across the Riverina, South West Slopes and Central West.

Local shows are an important part of the fabric of small towns and communities, bringing people together and celebrating the industries that help keep our regions thriving. Wool growers are a vital part of that story, and we’re honoured to continue supporting them — and the shows that showcase their hard work — generation after generation.

A lot has changed in 60 years, but some traditions are worth continuing. 💙

How good does the team at TNT Shearing look out at Ivanhoe!

We LOVE seeing shearing teams kitted out in their Moses & Son singlets. Thanks for sending through the pic — great to see them in action! 🙌

Now… there’s just one team member missing the M&S singlet! Mate, you’d better get yourself to one of our stores — we can’t have you being the odd one out! 😉😂
