💧Wow, following today we have now had 60mls for the month of May. Which is above average for May and best rainfall since November. Dry planted winter crops have now germinated and we have a green pick for the stock a very welcome change under the drought conditions. Dry planted 12 weeks ago, in the hope of a break to the drought. 23mls last week and here it comes with more rain forecast next week 💪. Stud cows could still calve on green feed 🌱.

📸 A few early paddock photos have started for those that aren't hiding for our July Bull sale flyer. Bulls are 20 to 21months now, no oats, as the dry conditions have taken hold, but present well, with some lovely new genetics coming along like V2, a Knowla So Right son. 💪

Glad to so many far and wide receive good 'soaking' rain' 🌧 over the last few weeks. We however received 0. BUT we have another liquid gold 🖤 that our girls come running for, and one that we CAN control 🖤 Ultragraz 👍 to keep us going.

We're weaning slightly early, hope you aren't as dry as we are. We yard-weaned with hay racks for five days and then two in our viewing pens. Calves all get to flow through the crush. Tailed out with dogs for the following week. Let's hope the current rain system makes it down the coast.
