I mean, I’m not sure how good a job he actually did, but that’s beside the point! 😂

When we started Macintyre Brook Lamb, it was an absolute leap of faith.

We had no idea if it was going to work. We had a dream to live and work on our own farm, but to make that stack up we couldn’t be at the mercy of fluctuating livestock markets, always being price takers.

One order at a time, we built this business from the ground up. More importantly, we found a community of people who believed in us, what we stand for and the way we farm.

I still have to pinch myself sometimes when I think our little farm now feeds hundreds of families across Australia.

In a world where it’s becoming harder and harder for family farms to survive, I can’t emphasise enough how much buying directly from a farmer really does matter.

Your support is literally keeping the gates open and our family on the farm.

So here’s to you.

Thank you... for finding us worthy. For believing in what we’re building. And for giving our kids the opportunity to grow up on the land, with the possibility of a future here too.

You know that old saying never work with animals or children? Well I did both today at the same time 🤪. The kids wanted to film some videos for their new pet food range.

Let’s just say there’s some wisdom behind that old expression!
