It’s that time of year again - fires, mulled juices, citrus falling from the trees, bananas harvested, growth slows and kith and kin come together.
Thanks to all the beautiful families who joined us for our solstice celebrations, shared food, stories and memories. May peace and love prevail for all. ❤️❄️🔥

We’re not ordinarily ones to carve into trees. It seems rather old fashioned and even a bit mean. But there really is something about marking it in and with love. Particularly if the tree in question is one usually branded as a noxious w**d, and therefore, generally, doomed to a painful glyphosate induced death.
This here monosyllabic carving says LU. It is dedicated to the mother of this small patch of land and slowly developing forest. In the place this carving is she regularly cares for hers and many others children, guiding them gently toward a love of our Mother Earth.
Happy mother day to all the mothers wherever they may be. The world’s a better place for having you in it. ❤️🌎🌱
