🍊And just like that, our persimmon season has come to an end! 🧡

What a joy it has been to welcome so many of you to the orchard this season. Thank you for choosing to spend part of your year with us, for supporting local farming, and for making the orchard such a happy place to be.

We’re especially grateful for our amazing team, who have worked so hard throughout the season (and the year) to help make each day run smoothly.

We'll be CLOSED TOMORROW for a staff day, taking the time to thank and celebrate the wonderful people behind the scenes.

Don't forget we still have some wonderful year round products in the shed and we are still open Saturday mornings (and most weekdays) for some fresh local produce.

To every visitor, every returning family, every first-timer, and everyone who helped spread the word — thank you. We feel very blessed to do what we do, and your support makes it all possible.

LAST CHANCE- PICKING TOMORROW.

Tomorrow is our last day of persimmon picking, we still have some space left for sessions and have made sure there is plenty of fruit on the tree for one final day of picking.

Come and be our lucky last customers for the season before we get back to preparing for the next season over winter. Have you ever found a 3 leaf persimmon, most of them have 4, we are wondering if the are like a 4 leaf clover!

LAST WEEKEND! (maybe)

It's been raining, but the sun is out and this weekend is looking good! We always want to make sure there is enough fruit for all our happy customers and so this weekend might be the last weekend for picking persimmons this season.

We have had lots of rain this week but the weekend is shaping up to have some great fruit, and we have just dropped the price to make sure everyone gets a great deal! The ground will still be wet in most places so make sure you wear appropriate shoes; boots or gumboots are ideal.

We are now picking FUYU persimmons! As this variety ripens it is probably the sweetest variety we have. We love hearing all of our wonderful feedback during your visit.
