Nothing beats a fresh golden peach in summer, who knew they grow well in the Subtropics, these are from my neighbour, I swapped cucumbers for them- I know I got the better deal. Nora Ephrons peach pie is our family's favourite- here is the pithy recipe-
: mix 1 & 1/4 cup flour
110gms salted butter, whizz or crumble, add 2 tab sour cream, press into a pie dish bake at 400, 10mins
Mix together 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tab flour + 3 egg yolks
Peel and slice 3 peaches, arrange over hot base, pour over filling, cover with foil 35min at 180, remove foil bake until just set.

Manchego style cheese, Dan's new favourite, creamy and smooth with a tangy burst at the end. One slice is not enough. We are down to once a day milking so less cheese bombing!

Counting my blessings having all the kids home this Christmas, Mays beautiful milk featured heavily with gruyere & potatoes, parmesan cauliflower filo nests, sour cream & dill topped salmon, turkey Wellington stuffed with brie, tiramisu with mascarpone, and sago plum pudding with creamy brandy sauce.
