Hill Padua Polls Stud Manager
C. F Thomas & Co are looking for a competent person to help manage our sheep enterprise, including our merino stud Hill Padua Polls, located in Three Springs WA. We are a progressive stud utilizing industry leading technology such as ASBV’s, genomic testing and pasture management.
We are looking for a full-time employee who understands what it takes to measure, collate, evaluate and implement these tools into mating programs for both the stud and our commercial flock.
This will also lead into our ram sale organisating and liaising with current and future clients with the use of our website and social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and X.
The successful applicant will be responsible for recording and imputing of day-to-day data into programs such as Stockbook, Excel and Agworld.
The role will also include collaborating with pasture renovating and cropping plans, operation and maintenance of machinery, farm vehicles as well as shearing shed, stock yards, fences, water and other farm infrastructure with the help of other team members.
The successful applicate should have a strong work ethic, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, manual driver license, be clean and tidy with a can-do attitude.
