First picture came up in my memories from a year ago. The queen of the paddock had twins, so bizarre that they look identical to the twin boys she just had!!
They had an excursion into the house yard the other day for some special snacks! 🌾

Reports from Dakel Dorpers HQ (Kath) that the Queen of the paddock is a ‘bit off’ this morning. Possibly getting ready for lambing maybe?
We are still patiently waiting for any lambs to arrive.
Excited it could be today! 🥰

I think she will give us triplets. 🐑 🐑🐑

Got snacks!? 🥖🍕
We have been laying low for a couple of months after a mammoth effort to downsize the flock from approx 230 sheep, to 19. We have 7 breeding ewes who are very heavily pregnant and we due any day, or hour now! This is our 3rd season of lambing and we are super excited to see what we get. The girls are healthy and hungry - Aidan was comparing his belly to theirs this evening ☺️

Another one bites the dust!
Ian made his way to his new home this afternoon, in Talgarno. So many animals for him to hang out with, even peacocks!
It’s been pretty non stop for 4 months, but we are finally at the end. One young Ram to go, and then we get to enjoy our flock ☺️

Bittersweet arvo today 🥲
One of our Rams headed to his new home with the Grealys from Grealy Family Transport.

Dale originally delivered our breeders to start our flock, and has purchased ewes from us and now this handsome man. We know he’s in great hands!

Davey has taken some ‘sick leave’ and having a few sleepovers at the Hospital.
The other boss and I (Cohen) had a business meeting over a frozen coke and decided that if someone helps us sell our last 12, July 2022 drop ewes, Davey will buy them a slab! 👏🏼 what a top bloke he is!

We also have a very handsome young ram from April 2022 available and 2 stud rams from Wirlinga Park Dorpers who are 2.5 years old and verrrrry good at their job, looking for some new friends.

Drenching, vaccinations and toe clipping is up to date
