There’s a new stall at Mullum Farmers Market, Mad Mountain Family Farm, offering a beautiful blend of medicinal and perennial herbs, grown in accordance with permaculture principles and traditional wisdom.

Lyn grows powerful plants that thrive in our subtropical climate, like longevity spinach, Tulsi basil, turmeric, and the mushroom plant. Her handmade herbal teas are a combination of healing, nourishing and delicious flavour. She also makes vibrant chutneys, sauces, and jams from her garden produce.

Whether you're after a healing brew or plants to build your own resilient garden, Lyn’s stall is full of inspiration (and deliciousness).

So happy be to a part of Mullumbimby Farmers Market, so many interesting stalls with unique eco-friendly, organic and original products. Great food, enticing music and an awesome bunch of people. Anise Hyssop.... pollinator attractant, can be used for its many medicinal properties such as treating burns, skin abrasions and to encourage wound healing. Leaves are used in herbal tea to treat coughs, colds and respiratory complaints. Anise Hyssop has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used topically, brewed for herbal tea or used fresh in salads and dressings. Has a sweet aniseed flavour and looks great in the garden. The local native bees and butterflies will thank you as they all flock to this vibrant beauty.
