Well… the dust has settled, the mud has dried, the last bit of diesel has been pumped — and we’re home with THREE very exciting new additions to our breeding program. 🐂✨

What a privilege it has been to be welcomed into your world, spend time with your whole tribe and experience the incredible hospitality you have always showed us. We’ve loved every minute of it… even if watching those young ones grow up is getting a little scary! 😂

🤎 To Rodney Cooper of Kooroora Longhorns — your hospitality is second to none, as always. Thank you for being a much-needed respite for both us and our cattle on the journey home. 👏

It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with you and see your incredible herd — although the transition from QLD sunshine to that NSW cold was a little shock. 🥶😂

🤎 To Texas Longhorns Australia Inc family and every member, affiliate and volunteer we caught up with at the show - there are far too many of you to name individually, but please know how much we appreciate you all!

From the organisers, judges and stewards, to the caterers, merchandise team and every single person behind the scenes — it was incredible to see just how many hands make light work. The event was run exceptionally well, and it was fantastic to be part of it and see all the incredible cattle.

Jase and I have absolutely loved catching up with so many of you. It’s quite the trip for us, and with a little exploring through outback Western NSW, a few mechanical issues and some amazing humans met along the way it’s been one hell of an adventure. ❤️‍🔥

Fun fact — since the day we started our stud, we’ve had a grullo heifer or cow sitting right at the very top of our wish list.

Always an absolute buzz. Amazing cattle, incredible organisers, sponsors, showmanship, food, merch and everything in between. A massive thank you to everyone who makes these days so special.

Today, we hit the road with a trailer load of cattle we are SO proud to call ours… 👀🐂

BUT… disaster struck. 🫣
We blew a wheel bearing in the gooseneck. In remote NSW. On a Sunday. 😳

Not exactly how we planned the day to go!

But you’ll see throughout this vlog that angels came to our rescue — in the form of new friends and complete strangers who, by the end of it, we now consider friends. 🫂❤️

We’ve always believed that good intentions come back to you… and today, we were reminded just how true that really is.

Feeling very grateful. Very blessed. And very, VERY tired. 😂🤠

DAY 6 & 7 🤠🌵

We’ve officially landed in Taroom… and safe to say, we’ve found LONGHORN HEAVEN! 🐂❤️

After all those kilometres, goats, road trains and plenty of country scenery, we’ve finally arrived where the magic happens.

Now for the best part… LONGHORNS! 😍🔥
