🌿 Join Peninsula Providore – Olive Grove Roles Available! 🌿
Are you passionate about sustainable farming and looking for hands-on work in a stunning location? Peninsula Providore is seeking dedicated individuals to help care for our 17,000 olive trees as we work toward becoming more regenerative every year. We have multiple tasks to fulfil and are able to offer flexible working arrangements to match the needs of the right person/people. We are open to applicants at all experience levels.
What You’ll Do:
• Composting & Mulching: Help improve our soil and tree health – tractor work
• Pruning: Be part of our regenerative pruning program using chainsaws (or learn to use one!)
• Manual Labour: Assist with outdoor work, including sucker control and tree health management
• Spraying (IPDM): Use sustainable techniques to maintain our grove – tractor work
• Irrigation & Repairs: Help maintain and repair irrigation systems and farm equipment
• Production Assistance: Pitch in during harvest season with oil handling, bottling, and order organization
We’re Looking For:
• A hard-working individual ready for outdoor, hands-on work.
• A self motivated, problem-solver who enjoys working as part of a team, but equally, is happy to work on their own.
• Someone with chainsaw skills (or the willingness to learn) and a passion for sustainable agriculture.
• Someone with chemcert skills (or the willingness to learn)
• Tractor skills (or willingness to learn), MR drivers licence also an advantage
• Experience in grove or farm management is a bonus if you’re interested in a leadership role.
