We’ve worked out a way to deliver easy and delicious smoked meal solutions without artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, nitrates, nitrites, thickeners, gums, or acidity regulators! Locally sourced produce is injected with preservative free apple-juice and smothered with in-Haus prepared rubs/spices/sauces, before wood-smoking. The products are then sliced/pulled/sauced and vacuum packed for a food-safety sous-vide stage before cooling and packing. The result: great tasting foods, sourced and made locally, ready in minutes, with no nasties, with stacks of 10-20 minute recipe ideas .

Jeff will be at the Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4x4 Expo this week, from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September at Redland Showgrounds.

If you’re around Brisbane or the Redlands, come along and say hello!

Introducing the Smoke Haus Freezer Stash!

Sometimes product development at Smoke Haus is very sophisticated.

And sometimes our Marketing Manager, Ellen, says to Jeff:
“Can you make me a massive bundle of Smoke Haus so I only have to stock my freezer once a school term?”

Ellen is a busy working mum with two small kids. Her family already eats Smoke Haus at least once a week (Taco Tuesday is practically an institution), the kids reliably gobble it up (which is a HUGE win), and having a few packs in the freezer is one of her favourite ways to make busy weeknights easier.

Instead of remembering to restock every few weeks, Ellen wanted to make ONE big order, fill the freezer and know that at least one easy dinner a week was sorted for the entire school term.

So she asked Jeff to make her a bigger box.

Then, because she is actually our Marketing Manager, she dug into our customer data.
