Purple peas Vs Green peas 🫛
I was hoping purple peas would taste better. They are quite pretty but sadly, I will not be growing them again to eat maybe just for fun and pretty flowers.

Someone asked me yesterday if i was self sufficient yet 😅 I wish !

The thing is, these things take time and i can push myself everyday to be in the garden working on it, but things only grow so fast. I am quite gentle on myself as i know it will be a while yet. The fruit trees take the longest by far. Im happy to say after a only a year we have harvested a variety of many veggies and fruits that have made it into our meals. 🍽🌶🥕🫛🥚🥦🫜🥔🍅
However, today i set myself a bit of a challenge. To make a meal with 100% of veggies from MY VERY OWN GARDEN! so here we have Yellow pear tomato's, baby purple spuds, purple beans, broccoli, turnip, kohlrabi, pak choy, romanesco broccoli, celery, sage, rosemary & chilli. To this i will add a bit of water and home raised beef from my dads cow.
To say I am happy is an understatement. There is so many more veggies then this growing in my garden and we are harvesting at least 2 veggies per meal everyday.

The work is finally starting to pay off with 100% home grown chemical free food.🥰🐂🥔🌶🥦🍅
