These sisters and besties are both due in early November.

Cornucopia Selene ND100 (Thelina Lunaria x Kamalaya Farm Agamenticus) is in kid to Springhill Unbelievable ND100 (First Fleet Cassandra x Woodbridge Farm Unbelievable)

It's time to formally introduce these two little loves who have stolen our hearts.

Meet Chengeta Fern and Chengeta Forrest - both named in acknowledgement of the hard work that Amanda at Ferntree Hill Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats has put into her breeding program (from which these kids' sire and dam both came).

Fern is the delightful little doe with a heart on her forehead. She is our very first kid to be born at Chengeta and I have no doubt that she'll forever hold a very special place in our hearts. We will be retaining her ♡

Forrest is a gorgeous little guy who looks so similar to Fern. He's an absolute sweetheart. At this stage, Forrest's future is still to be decided.

We are beyond thrilled to announce the safe arrival of our first ever Chengeta kids.

Two little kids were born to Ferntree Hill Paris (by Ferntree Hill Spooky Boo) last night. One boy and one girl, both buckskins like their mumma 💙🩷

Paris did incredibly well. She gave us a textbook kidding and is already such an attentive mum and a willing milker. Both kids have found mum's udder and we've been pleased to see them enthusiastically feeding through the night.

This kidding marks a significant milestone in our family's lives. We've been dreaming of this day for so long and are so excited to finally meet these new little loves.

One of our biggest motivations in getting goats last year was milk production. We're currently preparing to welcome our first Chengeta kids to the world, and Paris's first freshener udder is starting to bag up. With it, our excitement is growing for both the kids and the milk. We look forward to posting more about both in the near future!
