**WHY DID WE CALL A RESTAURANT “THE MADMAN”?**

Because **Il Matto** translates roughly to **“the madman”** or **“the fool.”**

And weirdly, it suits us.
A little unconventional.
A little excessive.

Very serious about food, but not particularly interested in taking ourselves too seriously.

So if you’ve ever wondered why the name feels slightly unhinged…
