Father’s Day is this Sunday 💚

Shopping for Dad can sometimes feel a little tricky, but we’ve got plenty of thoughtful finds in-store that he’ll actually love.

🥛 New on the shelves: Rolley!

A fun little upgrade for everyday milk, without the big sugar hit you often find in traditional milk flavourings (we won’t name names 👀). Rolley is Aussie-made, with no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.

Available in Chocolate, Strawberry + Banana. A great option for little ones (and grown-ups too😉).

🍲 Soup weather calls for a big pot of minestrone.

This simple, hearty Organic Minestrone is packed with veggies and beans, with everything you need available in-store.

You’ll need:
2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 2 potatoes, 2–3 garlic cloves, 1 jar Ceres passata, 1 tin Ceres cherry tomatoes, 1 tin Ceres kidney beans, 1 tin Ceres chickpeas + 1½ cups Elgin frozen green beans.

From home: brown onion, olive oil, mixed herbs, salt + pepper.

Sauté the onion, carrot and celery in olive oil until soft. Add garlic and herbs, followed by potatoes, passata, tomatoes + 1L water. Simmer for ~20 minutes, then add the beans, chickpeas and green beans and cook for another 10 minutes. Season to taste.

Serve with fresh bread and organic butter for the ultimate rainy-day dinner. 💚

Supporting Liz’s Family 💚

Our Surfcoast Wholefoods family recently lost a very special member of our community, Liz.

To support Liz’s children, we’re coming together for a Bake Sale Fundraiser and Community Raffle, with 100% of proceeds going directly to her family.

Our cafe team will be preparing a selection of homemade treats, and our community raffle features generous prizes donated by local businesses, including The Honey Project, Mikro Coffee Roasters, Manuko, Love Tea, Rip Curl, Good Folk Yoga, About Time Bathhouse, Kahwana Health, The Wholefood Kitchen, Frank n Al Chai, and more.

We’ll also be joined by some of Liz’s former music students, who will perform songs she taught them throughout the morning.

🧁 Bake Sale: 9am Friday 31st August (until sold out)
🎟️ Raffle: $5 per ticket, available in-store or online (drawn at 12pm Friday)
